Published in 2018, this 172 page book covers events and facts from World War II in the North East of Scotland. Often facts
get distorted by time, and through research at the National Archives in Kew, military war diaries, operational
records and eye witness accounts to piece together factual events. Minefields, spies, crashed aircraft along with
stories of individuals are subjects in the book, along with some never seen images. What was clear during research
is that some events were not 100% correct, locations and dates were often confused making the information incorrect.
Five years of research have gone into making it one of the most accurately documented book.The book is
